Captured Outlaw Is Hung By A Thick Rope At Sundown
Email to a Friend
One lone outlaw stands in a room, against a wall, standing on a box with a noose around his neck. The rope is slack at first but the cowboy knows what is coming. Summoning all of the bravado that he can muster, the condemned man looks around, smiles and says "Is somebody going to kill me, or what?" His answer comes immediately as the slack rope is snapped tight and his bravado turns to fear and he struggles to breathe and at the same time tries to stay standing on the box that is keeping him just barely tall enough to breathe. Several times the doomed outlaw gets enough air to hang on just a little longer, actually prolonging his agonizingly slow and torturous death struggle. Eventually the cowboy's troubles are over as we see his leather clad body as it slowly swings at the end of the rope. No mercy, no reprieve and no life.
